Abstract

Abstract in english: Packaging is any product, regardless of the nature of the material it is made of, used for holding, protecting, handling, delivering and presenting goods, from raw materials to finished products, from manufacturers to consumers. The need for packaging comes with the need for man to: store, transport and preserve food and use various materials, from straw, clay, leather, metal, wood to cellophane, bakelite, polystyrene and smart packaging. Today, it plays a very important role in the consumer society as a productprotecting coat, a medium that carries various information and can serve as an inspirational element of an ecological message and ultimately becomes waste that needs to be ecologically handled. Due to the mass production of packaging that due to its mass and volume of harmful or dangerous ingredients used in its manufacture, is caused by large environmental pollution. It is therefore necessary to find new natural materials for making packaging that would be easier to recycle and would be more environmentally friendly. In the experimental part of the thesis the possibility of using biodegradable milk material for a food product - milk will be explored. Various packaging were prepared from biodegradable milk - with nutritional supplements and tested the physical and chemical impact of such packaging on the product itself.
