Abstract
Timelapse fotografija je tehnika koja spaja klasičnu fotografiju i video. Svrha ove tehnike je snimanje fotografija pojedine scene koja se sporo mijenja kroz određeni vremenski period te kasnijim spajanjem tih fotografija u post-produkciji u video s puno većom brzinom prikaza manipulirajući vremenom u kojem se događaj odvio. Rezultat toga je prikaz promjene određene scene koja bi inače trajala previše dugo da bi ljudsko oko moglo primijetiti razlike. Tehnika Hyperlapse fotografije nastala je iz tehnike Timelapse fotografije. Razlika između ovih dviju tehnika jest to što se u Hyperlapse tehnici osim snimanja scene u određenom vremenskom periodu i kamera pomiče u jednakim razmacima kroz prostor. Teorijskim dijelom ovog diplomskog rada analizirat će se obje tehnike, planiranje, izvedba i post produkcija na računalu, kao i moguće greške prije i tijekom snimanja. Istovremeno će se primjenjivati i pridržavati svih načela koje dobar Timelapse i Hyperlapse video mora imati. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada bit će izrađen video pomoću navedenih tehnika u okviru umjetničkog projekta u suradnji s umjetnicom i bivšom studenticom Grafičkog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, mag.ing.graf.teh. Tenom Grgić. Cilj ovog rada je na nov i inovativan način približiti tehniku Timelapse i Hyperlapse fotografije te kroz umjetnički medij upoznati veliki broj ljudi s istima.Također, radom se želi istaknuti važnost fotografskih i videografskih tehnika u umjetničkom izražavanju te njihov utjecaj na zadržavanje pažnje gledatelja. Pokušat će se potvrditi hipoteza da će se korištenjem navedenih tehnika povećati atraktivnost umjetničkog projekta te privući veća pažnja promatrača. Na posljetku, kroz ideju projekta želi se i promovirati rad mladih umjetnika te njihova društvena uloga u isticanju Grada Zagreba kao turističke destinacije.

| Abstract in english: | Timelapse photography is a photography technique that combines classic photography with a video. The goal of this technique is to capture the frame of a single scene which is slowly changing through the time and later combining those photographies in a post-production process into a video with much bigger speed of representation, resulting in manipulation of the time in which the event took place. The result of this process is a representation of the change of a certain scene which would otherwise take too long for a human eye to notice. Technique of the Hyperlapse photography has been created out of the technique of the Timelapse photography. The difference between the two is that in Hyperlapse photography camera is being moved equally throughout the space during the same time period the photography takes place. Theoretical part of this master thesis covers the analysis of both techniques, the planning and execution of both, post-production on the personal computer, and explains the possible mistakes before and during the capture. All the principles which good Timelapse and Hyperlapse video must have will be used throughout the whole thesis. As a part of the experimental part of the thesis a video which uses the already mentioned techniques will be made and will be part of the art project in collaboration with mag.ing.graf.teh. Tena Grgić, an artist and an alumnus of the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb. The goal of this thesis is to bring closer the Timelapse and Hyperlapse photography techniques in a new and innovative way and introduce them to the people through the artistic medium. Additionally, the goal is to highlight the importance of photography and video techniques as an artistic expression and show the impact to the capture of the view’s attention. The hypothesis that the usage of the mentioned techniques enhances the attractiveness of the art piece and grabs the attention of the viewer will be proven. Finally, the objective of the project is to promote the work of young artists and their impact and role in building the image of the Zagreb as a tourist destination. |
