Abstract

Abstract in english: | This master thesis covers a theoretical section that gives a brief overview of the types of computer animated photography, with an emphasis on parallax animation technique. It explains what parallax is, gives examples of where it can be found in day to day life, and how it's used to animate photos. The experimental part of this paper describes the process of producing a short video in the form of a photo essay in which the parallax animation technique is presented. The process of parallax animation is presented chronologically in detail from the original idea to realization. It includes defining the idea, selecting the equipment used, taking photos, processing photos, animating photos, and composing the final video. In conclusion, there is a growing interest in displaying two-dimensional photography in three-dimensional space, and that's where parallax animation can show its full potential. In the future, parallax photo animation will be used by those who wish to breathe new life into still photography. |
