Abstract
Računalna grafika je važan dio suvremenih medija i napreduje iz dana u dan. Dijeli se na vektorsku i rastersku grafiku koje se golom oku čine gotovo jednakima, no temelje se na različitim principima. U ovom diplomskom radu analizirat će se i usporediti neki od računalnih programa za vektorsku grafiku. Vektorska grafika temelji se na principima geometrije te su objekti definirani kao skupovi koordinata i linija, stoga ova vrsta grafike ne gubi na kvaliteti tijekom smanjivanja i povećavanja, što je jedna od njezinih glavnih prednosti. Najpoznatiji računalni program za izradu i obradu vektorske grafike jest Adobe Illustrator koji je postao industrijski standard. Drugi najpopularniji je CorelDraw, po nekima čak jednostavniji za korištenje i bolji od Illustratora. Na tržištu se nalaze i brojni programi s otvorenim pristupom kao alternative za izradu ilustracija, logotipa, nacrta itd. Primjeri takvih programa su Inkscape, Serif Draw Plus, Skencil i mnoštvo drugih. Prilikom realizacije grafičkog proizvoda potrebno je obratiti pozornost na cijeli niz detalja pa je odabir programa koji će se koristiti za pripremu jedna od najvažnijih karika samog procesa.

Abstract in english: | Computer graphics is an important part of modern media and is advancing day by day. It is divided into vector and raster graphics that seem almost identical to the naked eye, but are based on different principles. In this thesis, some of the computer programs for vector graphics will be analyzed and compared. Vector graphics are based on the principles of geometry and objects are defined as a set of coordinates and lines, so this type of graphics does not lose on quality during reduction and enlargement, which is one of its main advantages. The most famous computer program for creating and processing vector graphics is Adobe Illustrator, which has become an industry standard. The second most popular is CorelDraw, according to some even easier to use and better than Illustrator. There are also numerous open access programs on the market as alternatives for creating illustrations, logos, drafts, etc.Examples of such programs are Inkscape, Serif, Draw Pilus, Skencil and many others. When realizing a graphic product, it is necessary to pay attention to a whole range of details, so choosing the program that will be used for preparation is one of the most important links in the process itself. |
