Abstract

Abstract in english: Graphic products such as textbooks and other teaching materials needed for schooling are often not adapted for people with reading and writing disorders (dyslexia and dysgraphia). People with these problems often find it difficult to master the learning material due to excessive text, such as loss of concentration and fatigue with reading, and they are often faced with a lack of understanding of the environment. Through this thesis, the typography, typographic elements (shape, type and size of the font), illustrations and infographics that would aim to reduce the amount of text will be researched and adapted, and the mentioned text will be illustrated. The research will also include the influence of colors, more precisely how colors affect data memory and concentration of people with reading and writing disorders. After the research, the obtained information will be used for redesign, such as adaptation of the textbook to people with writing and reading difficulties. In this paper, the aim is to conduct research by exploring the problems of people with reading and writing problems, and that the material in the textbook is shaped in several ways using various graphic elements such as illustrations, infographics and colors. The research would involve children with reading and writing problems who would decide which of the colors, fonts and illustrations were most appropriate.
