Abstract

Onboarding proces mobilnih aplikacija je proces u kojemu se novi korisnici upoznaju s aplikacijom i ukoliko uspješan uvelike utječe na korisnikovo prihvaćanje aplikacije. Navedeni proces se u povijesti pojavljuje kao postupak u kojemu se novi zaposlenici prilagođavaju radu u firmi. Isto tako u kontekstu mobilnih aplikacija je ono prvi doticaj korisnika i aplikacije te je u direktnoj korelaciji s uspješnim korisničkim iskustvom. Upravo zbog toga javlja se potreba o definiranju najprimjerenije vrste onboarding procesa za pojedinu vrstu aplikacija. U slučaju aplikacija digitalnog bankarstva koje naizgled imaju pretek funkcionalnosti i mogućnosti, uistinu je najvažnije svesti ih na minimum kako bi transakcija bila što brže i efikasnije realizirana, odnosno kako bi se korisnik što brže prilagodio uporabi iste. Teorijski dio rada sadržavat će različite kategorije onboarding procesa i heurističku evaluaciju aplikacija digitalnog bankarstva, dok će eksperimentalni dio sadržavati testiranje istih i izradu prototipa vlastite aplikacije na temelju uvida zabilježenih tijekom istraživanja. Važno je naglasiti da će testiranje aplikacija služiti za određivanje načina na koji različita vrsta onboardinga u aplikacijama istog tipa utječe na korisnikovu upotrebu, zainteresiranost i dugotrajan odnos s aplikacijom. U konačnici, testiranje vlastite aplikacije će opovrgnuti ili potvrditi hipotezu da je akcijski pristup u procesu onboardinga najprikladniji za predstavljanje aplikacije.

Abstract in english: The onboarding process of mobile applications is a process in which new users are introduced to the application and if successful it greatly affects the user's acceptance of the application. This process appears in history as a process in which new employees adapt to work in the company. However, in the context of mobile applications, it is the first contact between the user and the application and is directly in correlation with a successful user experience. This is why there is a need to define the most appropriate type of onboarding process for a particular type of the application. When it comes to digital banking applications that seemingly have an overabundance of functionality and capabilities, the most important thing is to minimize them so that the transaction is realized as quickly and efficiently as possible, i.e. so that the user can adapt as quickly as possible. The theoretical part of the paper will contain different categories of onboarding processes and heuristic evaluation of digital banking applications, while the experimental part will include testing them and prototyping my own application based on the insights recorded during the research. It is important to emphasize that application testing will serve for determining how different types of onboarding in applications of the same type affect user’s usage, interest, and long-term relationship with the application. Ultimately, testing my own application will refute or confirm the hypothesis that an action oriented approach in the onboarding process is most appropriate for presenting the application.
