Abstract

Abstract in english: Flexographic printing is a direct letterpress printing technique used in packaging industry for printing on different types of materials. With the development of the latest printing technologies, flexographic printing is taking its place as one of the prominent printing techniques that is taking over the market. With a higher degree of standardization, new technical solutions for machine constructions and faster work process, the quality of the print increases, as well as the economic efficiency. In this thesis, the aim is to research the possibilities of improving the optical and mechanical properties of prints with the addition of nanoparticles in the technique of flexographic printing. For this paper the commercial printing ink was used to which nanoparticles were added in different concentrations. In order to research the influence of accelerated aging on the observed properties of the prints, the obtained samples were subjected to accelerated aging for 12 and 24 hours, and measurements of optical and mechanical properties were additionally performed on them. It was assumed that the addition of nanoparticles, in different concentrations, to the basic printing ink would enable the production of printing ink and prints with new, improved properties.
