Abstract
Završni rad se bavi temom fizičkih glazbenih albuma u industriji korejske pop glazbe (također poznate kao kpop). U radu se prolazi kroz definiciju toga što čini standardni kpop album, tehničke i dizajn karakteristike svih materijala koji se nalaze u sklopu fizičkog albuma i u sklopu javne promocije istog. Prolazi se i kroz faze konceptualizacije i dizajna jednog takvog albuma kroz redizajn Diary verzije već postojećeg albuma Zero: Fever Pt.1 korejske grupe Ateez koji je objavljen u srpnju 2020. godine. U sklopu tog dijela rada također se definira i ciljna skupina kojoj su namjenjeni originalni dizajn i redizajn. Nakon izlaganja prijedloga novih dizajn rješenja za vanjsku ambalažu, fizički medij glazbe, knjižice fotografija i tekstova pjesama, standardnih i limitiranih sakupljivih dodataka, postera i digitalnih promotivnih medija, rad sadrži analizu tržišnog istraživanja provedenog na definiranoj ciljnoj skupini u svrhu usporedbe originalnog dizajna i redizajna, kojom se procjenjuje uspješnost redizajna.

Abstract in english: | The topic of this bachelor thesis relates to physical music albums of the Korean pop industry (otherwise known as kpop). The thesis covers the definition of what makes a standard kpop album, the technical and design characteristics of all materials of which the physical album consists of, as well as materials that are used to promote it. Phases of conceptualization and design of one such album are also covered, through the redesign of a preexisting album, specifically the Diary version of Zero: Fever Pt.1 by the Korean group Ateez released in July of 2020. This part of the thesis also covers the definition of the design's target market. After proposing new design solutions for all materials that make up an album, the thesis includes an analysis of a target market research questionnaire based on original design and redesign comparisons, which has been used to evaluate the successfulness of the redesign. |
