Abstract

Crvena Coca-Cola, šareni Google, plavi Facebook, ljubičasta Milka…jedan od razloga zašto su navedene tvrtke tako prepoznatljive je moć boje. Boja je esencijalna sastavnica vizualne komunikacije, a primarni cilj ovog rada je ući u “svijet boje” i istražiti kakvu ulogu ona ima u komunikaciji s korisnikom. U radu će se istražiti kako korisnici doživljavaju određenu boju (nijansu) te kakve asocijacije u njima pobuđuju. Završni rad obuhvaća raznovrsna područja, kao npr. tekstilnu industriju, grafički dizajn i dizajn UI-a (eng. user interface design).

Abstract in english: Red Coca-Cola, colorful Google, blue Facebook, purple Milka… one of the reasons why these companies are so recognizable is the power of color. Color is an essential component of visual communication and the primary goal of this paper is to enter the “world of color” and explore what role it plays in communicating with the users. The thesis will investigate how users experience a certain color (shade) and what associations they evoke in them. The thesis covers a variety of areas, such as the textile industry, graphic design and UI design.
