Abstract
Časopis je uz dnevni tisak najčitaniji tiskovni medij u svijetu. Njime je obrađen širok spektar tema, stoga naslovnice časopisa moraju vizualnim jezikom predstaviti temu koja se obrađuje. U teorijskom dijelu rada će se analizirati dizajn naslovnica različitih vrsta časopisa, točnije elementi koji su odabrani (tipografija, boja, logotip i ilustracija ili fotografija) s obzirom na temu časopisa. Svrha analize je utvrditi na koji način odabrani dizajnerski elementi utječu na percepciju čitatelja o časopisu i njegovom sadržaju. Pomoću zaključaka dobivenih iz analize, u praktičnom dijelu rada će se izraditi nekoliko naslovnica fiktivnih časopisa koje će svojim oblikovanjem jasno komunicirati vrstu časopisa.

| Abstract in english: | The magazine along with daily newspapers is the most read printed media in the world. It covers a wide array of themes, which is why magazine covers use visual language to present the subject being covered. In the theoretical part of this thesis, covers of different types of magazines will be analyzed, or more accurately, the elements which were chosen (typography, color, logo and illustration or photography) in regards to the subject of the magazine. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the way in which the selected design elements impact the reader’s perception of the magazine and its contents. Using the conclusions obtained in the analysis, the practical portion of the thesis will consist of creating a couple of covers for fictional magazines, the design of which will clearly communicate to the reader the type of magazine it represents. |
