Abstract

Prema definicijama dostupnima u literaturi, inteligentna ambalaža je sustav koji može „osjetiti“ i bilježiti svaku promjenu koja utječe na upakiran proizvod, što znači da se njene funkcije uključuju i isključuju kao odgovor na vanjske ili unutrašnje uvjete. Takva ambalaža može uključivati komunikaciju o valjanosti proizvoda s kupcem ili krajnjim korisnikom. Cilj ovog završnog rada je objasniti svrhu i prednosti inteligentne ambalaže, te kroz primjere primjene prikazati različite vrste ovog tipa ambalaže. U radu će se navesti i objasniti posebne vrste tiskarskih boja koje se koriste kod inteligentne ambalaže, te pokazati na koji način takva ambalaža može informirati kupca o promjenama koje utječu na proizvod, njegovu kvalitetu i svježinu. Osim kroz spomenute materijale za posebne namjene, interaktivnost ambalaže objasnit će se i kroz primjenu 2D kodova, te RFID i NFC sustava.

Abstract in english: According to the definitions available in the literature, intelligent packaging is a system that can „feel“ and record any change that affects the packaged product, which means that its functions are turned on and off in response to external or internal conditions. Such packaging may include communication about the integrity and safety of the product with the customer or end user. The aim of this paper is to explain the purpose and advantages of intelligent packaging and to show different types of this kind of packaging through application examples. The paper will list and explain the special types of printing inks used in intelligent packaging and show how can such packaging inform the customer about the changes affecting the product, its quality, and freshness. In addition to mentioned materials for special purposes, the interactivity of packaging will be explained through the use of 2D codes, RFID, and NFC systems.
