Abstract

Ovaj završni rad, detaljnom analizom filmova Wesa Andersona, istražuje jezik boja. Glavni cilj ovoga rada je prikazati kako je znanje o teoriji boja nužno pri produkciji filma. Kako bi stekli što bolje razumijevanje, ovaj rad razlučuje komponente teorije boja i detaljno ih razrađuje uporabom analize različitih filmova. Oslanjajući se na teoriju boja, Anderson je stvorio vlastitu estetiku i tako pažljivo birao kombinacije boja. Koristeći se skladnim i upečatljivim paletama, obojao je svoje svjetove i tako stvorio njihov autentičan i vrlo sjetan izgled. Također, uporabom različitih nijansi boja izgradio je karaktere svojih likova i odnose među njima. Uravnotežene i savršene kolorističke kompozicije koristio je kako bi prikazao, ne samo dekorativni, već i narativni, simbolički i komunikacijski potencijal boje.

Abstract in english: This final paper, through a detailed analysis of Wes Anderson's films, explores the language of color. The main goal of this paper is to show how knowledge of color theory is necessary for film production. In order to gain a better understanding, this paper separates the components of color theory and elaborates them in detail using the analysis of different films. Relying on color theory, Anderson created his own aesthetic and thus carefully selected color combinations. Using harmonious and striking palettes, he painted his worlds and thus created their authentic and very dreamy appearance. Also, by using different shades of colors, he built the personality of his characters and the relationships between them. He used balanced and perfect color compositions to show not only the decorative, but also the narrative, symbolic and communicative potential of color.
