Abstract

Abstract in english: | Packaging is present everywhere in the modern age, it protects the product from potential natural and mechanical damage during shipping and handling, as well as serving a marketing role to entice customers into buying. Considering mentioned functions packaging should suffice, during designing and production of optimal packaging, there shouldn't be an overwhelming amount or different kinds of material used. This way of designing and producing packaging ensures a product that goes by principles of sustainability. Considering the current situation with COVID-19 and the changes in our everyday lives, online shopping has come into the spotlight as a way of making purchases without direct contact. Through the internet, the sale of groceries, clothes, electronics, and such has noticeably increased which brings up the question of eco-friendly package delivery. Research has shown that examinees believe Internet shopping to be less ecofriendly than traditional shopping in-store. In addition to that, it was shown that examinees were willing to accept a setback to make Internet shopping more eco-friendly, out of which personal pick-up from a pick-up point was shown to be the most popular option |
