Abstract
Ovaj rad govori o položaju brošura iz perspektive konzumerizma i marketinga, te nastoji naglasiti i poticati kvalitetu produkcije glazbenih omota s višestrukom upotrebom. Teorijska podloga rada je grafički dizajn s naglaskom na izradu brošure, dok se empirijski dio sastoji od ankete kojom se ispituju preference sudionika (po datim primjerima grafičkih rješenja) te njihovu upoznatost s izvođačem ili tom glazbenom scenom. Ovaj rad nastoji opisati i analizirati odnose između pojedinaca i omota glazbenih albuma, ali i dodatnog sadržaja koji dolazi uz njega. Rad nastoji naglašavati kako se percepcija pojedinaca mijenja ovisno do koje razine je upoznat s glazbenikom ili tom glazbenom scenom (slučajni slušatelj ili vjerni obožavatelj). Nakon analize rezultata ustanovilo se gravitiranje korisnika prema brošurama s višestrukom funkcijom. Osim toga, pokazalo se da glazbeni omoti s dodatnim sadržajem potiču znatiželju ljubitelja glazbe koji možda nisu prethodno upoznati s izvođačem, te da će stvarati emocionalnu povezanost s postojećim obožavateljima. Rezultati predočuju važnost glazbenih omota unutar stvaranja vizualnih identiteta glazbenika, te kroz to možemo vidjeti njihovu neophodnost u marketingu glazbe (od komunikacije sa slušateljima do stjecanja obožavatelja).

Abstract in english: | This work talks about brochures from the perspective of consumerism and marketing. It attempts to highlight and improve the production quality of musical albums with multifunctional usage. The theoretical base of this work is going to be graphic design focused on brochure creation while the empirical part is made of a poll that analyses participants' preferences (based on graphic solutions handed to them). Furthermore, the poll questions their familiarity with the artist and/or musical scene that the artist belongs to. This work's mission is to describe and analyze the relationship between an individual and both album covers and the additional content that comes with it. Moreover this work attempts to highlight how an individual perception changes based on their familiarity with the artist or the scene artist belongs to (no matter how strong their connection to the artist is). After the analysis of the results, we expect to notice gravitation towards multifunctional brochures. We expect that album covers with extra content are going to awake the curiosity of music lovers who are not familiar with the artist beforehand, furthermore, we expect that it will create an emotional connection with fans. The results show the importance of album covers within the creation of an artist's visual identity through which we can see their necessity in music marketing (from communication with listeners to the creation of a fanbase). |
