Abstract

Abstract in english: By implementing the methodology of user-centered design in the development process of mobile applications, great emphasis is placed on testing prototypes with users. Given the large number of tools with different limitations in functionalities in prototypes of a certain level of fidelity, the question arises as to how much these limitations affect the user experience, and how much on the test results themselves. Using the same design, the research on which the paper is based deals with the comparison of the results of A / B testing with the prototype with conditional logic and testing with the click-through prototype. The aim of the research was to confirm the hypotheses that testing with a prototype with conditional logic will positively affect the personal experience of the respondents during the testing, and that the same testing will also give better results. Respondents’ personal experience was measured by a combination of qualitative data on respondents' reactions and behavior during testing and the quantitative results of a post-test survey. The quality of test results was measured by the number of errors identified in the application design. By analyzing the test results of both prototypes and comparing these results, both hypotheses were confirmed. According to the results of the research, it was concluded that the use of prototypes with conditional logic had a positive effect on the personal experience of users and a greater impression of personalization of the application, as well as a number of observed design errors based on feedback from respondents.
