Abstract

Kao relativno nova grana u IT sektoru, dizajn korisničkog iskustva i korisničkog sučelja (UX i UI) značajno je promijenila cjelokupni proces razvoja mobilnih i web aplikacija. Korisnik i njegove potrebe se stavljaju u središte i glavni cilj je pružiti pozitivna iskustva koja će uspješno vraćati korisnike proizvodu ili brendu. Uz to, dobro korisničko iskustvo može značajno poboljšati poslovni uspjeh pojedine tvrtke s obzirom na to da se pažljivo prate i definiraju razni scenariji s ciljem privlačenja što više prometa na stranicu. S vremenom, potrebno je provjeriti učinak web stranice i po potrebi napraviti ažuriranja, tu započinje proces redizajna. Postoji mnogo razloga za redizajn, ovisno o poslovnim ciljevima, a neki od najčešćih su: rebranding, povećanje prometa, stvaranje više potencijalnih kupaca i dodavanje funkcionalnosti za poboljšanje korisničkog iskustva. U ovom radu predstavit će se redizajn jedne od najpopularnijih web trgovina današnjice – Amazon. Prošlo je više od 20 godina od lansiranja ove popularne shopping platforme koja se u to sve vrijeme nije pretjerano mijenjala. Donedavno, kada je početna stranica dobila osvježeni dizajn, no stranice za pregled proizvoda su ostale iste, nepregledne i natrpane. U ovom radu analizirat će se problemi i zahtjevi za redizajnom te u konačnici i provesti prateći UX i UI principe.

Abstract in english: As a relatively new branch in the IT sector, user experience and user interface design (UX and UI) has significantly changed the entire process of developing mobile and web applications. The user and his needs are put in the center and the main goal is to provide positive experiences that will successfully bring users back to the product or brand. In addition, a good user experience can significantly improve the business success of an individual company, given that various scenarios are carefully monitored and defined in order to attract as much traffic to the site. Over time, it is necessary to check the performance of the website and, if necessary, make updates, this is where the redesign process begins. There are many reasons to redesign, depending on business goals, and some of the most common are: rebranding, increasing traffic, creating more leads, and adding functionality to improve the user experience. This thesis will present the process of redesigning one of the most popular web stores today - Amazon. It’s been more than 20 years since the launch of this popular shopping platform that hasn’t changed too much in all that time. Until recently, when the homepage got a refreshed design, but the product pages remained the same, cluttered and crowded. This paper will analyze the problems and requirements for redesign and ultimately implement the following UX and UI principles.
