Abstract

Ekološka štetnost rabljenih razvijača nakon razvijanja ofsetnih ploča i njihov utjecaj na okoliš nužno uvjetuje njihovu obradu i zbrinjavanje. Rabljeni razvijači zbog potrebite kemijske reakcije imaju izrazito lužnati karakter, te se kao takvi nesmiju ispuštati u otpadne vode. Osim lužnatog karaktera sadrže i organske komponente zaostale nakon otapanja kopirnih slojeva koje također mogu zagaditi okoliš. Ispitivana su dva uzorka razvijača jedan za klasične a drugi za CTP ploče. Utvrđeno je da se neutralizacijom s HNO3 nastaje voluminozni želatinozni talog, te da se pH vrijednost dobivenog filtrata ponovno povećava stajanjem, te ga je moguće ponovno neutralizirati. Dobiveni želatinozni talog ima svojstva hidrofilnog koloida, a mase dobivenih taloga povećavaju se dodatkom HNO3. Metodom atomske adsorpcije u ispitivanim razvijačima nije detektirano srebro kao jedan od mogućih sastojaka kopirnog sloja koji može biti uzrokovan sutaloženjem sa hidrofilnim koloidom.

Abstract in english: Due to their ecological hazardousness after developing of offset boards and their environmental influence, the used developers require processing and proper disposal. The used developers have an extreme alkaline complexion due to their needy chemical reactions, so they cannot be drained into the liquid waste. Except high alkalinity level they also have organic components remained after dissolution of copy layers, which can pollute the environment too. Two samples of developers were examined, one for classical, another for CTP boards. It has been established that trough the neutralization with HNO3 a voluminous gelatinous sediment has been created, so that the pH-value of extracted filtrate increases when stagnating, and as a result it is possible to neutralize it again. The extracted gelatinous sediment has characteristics of hydro file colloid, and the mass of the extracted sediments can be increased by adding of HNO3. With the method of atomic absorption in examined developers, no silver has been detected, as one of the possible components of the copy layer that can be caused by sub- sedimentation with hydro file colloid.
