Abstract

Diplomski je rad podijeljen u dva dijela: teorijski i eksperimentalni dio. U teorijskom dijelu rada opisane su osnovna teorija svjetlosti, detaljnija razrada njezine valne prirode te kvantna priroda svjetlosti. Također su opisana i optička svojstva papira te procesi reciklacije i starenja papira. U eksperimentalnom dijelu nalaze se opće karakteristike spektrofotometrije kao i opis uređaja koji je korišten prilikom mjerenja pojedinih uzoraka – spektrofotometra. Također su detaljno opisani i specificirani mjerni uzorci. Rezultati mjerenja dani su u obliku spektrofotometrijskih krivulja, a slijedi i rasprava rezultata. Na samom kraju rada nalazi se i sažeto objašnjenje ekološkog aspekta.

Abstract in english: My graduation thesis is composed of the theoretical and experimental part. In the theoretical part the Basic Theory of Light, a detailed elaboration of its wave nature as well as the quantic nature of light have been described. Optical features of paper and processes of paper recycling and ageing have been also described. The experimental part comprises general characteristics of spectrophotometry and the description of the spectropfotometer, the measurement apparatus used for measuring of particular samples. The thesis also includes a detailed description and specification od the measured samples. The measurement results have been presented in spectrophotometric curves followed by a discussion of the results. At the very end of the thesis is a concise interpretation of the ecological aspect.
