Abstract

Bljeskalica (Blitz, flash) je umjetni izvor svjetla koji daje izuzetno snažno svjetlo vrlo kratkog trajanja. Razvila se prije Drugog svjetskog rata i postala je sve popularnija u narednim godinama. Godina 1931. bilježi se kao godina kada je Harold Edgerton napravio prvu prakticnu bljeskalicu. Godinama nakon njegovih pocetnih eksperimenata na tržištu su se pojavile razlicite vrste elektronskih bljeskalica cije je sofisticiranost daleko premašila prve modele. Bljeskalica danas spada u neizbježan pribor svakog fotografa. Postavlja se direktno na fotoaparat ili pak pored njega, a osigurava potrebno osvjetljenje pri snimanju u vrlo kratkom vremenu od 1/100 sek. do 1/10 000 sek. Danas možemo podijeliti bljeskalice na one ugradene ili odvojene od fotoaparata, po velicini i snazi malih bljeskalica koje se prikljucuju na hot-shoe fotoaparata pa sve do velikih studijskih bljeskalica. Bljeskalica se pokazala kao jedan od najkorisnijih izvora svjetla u fotografiji. Razloga je nekoliko. Prije svega, to su stalnost temperature boje i kolicine svjetla kroz cijeli životni vijek rasvjetnog tijela. Tu su zatim mogucnost podešavanja izlazne snage i kratkoca trajanja bljeska koja osigurava oštrinu ("zamrznutost") snimke. Bljesak ima temperaturu svjetla od oko 5.500 kelvina što odgovara prosjecnoj temperaturi dnevnog svjetla. Brzina bljeska je mnogo kraca nego brzina zatvaraca, a može biti od 1/300 i 1/10 000 sekunde (cak i kraca ovisno o izvedbi bljeskalice). Jacina bljeska omogucuje rad pri malim otvorima objektiva, izmedu 16 i 64 cime se postiže veliko podrucje dubinske oštrine. Upotrebom bljeskalice, dakle, fotograf u velikoj mjeri postaje neovisan o svjetlosnim uvjetima.

Flash has developed before World War II and became more popular in coming years. Year 1931st recorded as the year when Harold Edgerton made the first practical flashlight. Years after his initial experiments on the market appeared different types of electronic flash which far exceeded the sophistication of the first models. Flash today is one of the inevitable accessory of every photographer. Sets directly to the camera, or beside it, and provide the necessary illumination for shooting in a very short time of 1 / 100 sec. to 1 / 10 000 sec. Today, we can divide the flash of those installed or separate from the camera, the size and strength of the small flash that is connected to the hot-shoe camera up to the big studio flash. The flash turned out to be one of the most useful sources of light in photography. There are several reasons. First of all, to the constant color temperature and the amount of light through the entire life lighting body. There are then the possibility of adjusting the output power and the shortness of life that ensures sharp flashes images. Flash of light has a temperature of about 5500 kelvins which corresponds to an average temperature of daylight. Speed flash is much shorter than the shutter speed, and can be 1 / 300 and 1 / 10 000 seconds (or even shorter depending on the performance of the flash). Intensity flashes to work with a small aperture, between 16 and 64, which is achieved by a large area of depth of field. Using flash, therefore, the photographer becomes largely independent of lighting conditions.
