Abstract

Svaki veličanstveni portret govori sam sebi u prilog.

Abstract in english: Every glorious portrait speaks for itself. It can have the connotation of eminence or impudence, obstinacy or conspiracy, it might seem elusive or reminiscent- yet regardless of the atmosphere it creates, portrait directly addresses the beholder, it is the visual utterance of indirect and undeniable power. A portrait leaves the impression of simplicity, nevertheless it is not simple. We photograph people more frequently than anything else- our families, friends, children's plays, or the inhabitants of the places we visit. As well as with landscapes, in portraits the efforts are made to accomplish more than a simple photograph of a person. We strive to create the image of the person's soul, similarly as successful painter produces more than just a simple image of a model.
