Abstract

Tema ovog rada je računalno generirana holografija. U teoretskom dijelu, prikazana je kratka povijest i razvoj holografije. Ukratko su opisane tehnike proizvodnje holograma temeljenih na računalno stvorenom sadržaju, fokusirajući se na različite pristupe poligonalnog modeliranja, animiranje sadržaja virtualnom kamerom te proces renderiranja. Također su detaljno opisane proširene mogućnosti primjene računalno generirane holografije. Uz to, opisani su načini stvaranja digitalnog sadržaja za hologram na temelju vlastitog iskustva u stvaranju takvih sadržaja. Kroz program Autodesk Maya su praktično objašnjeni osnovni principi i metode 3D grafike. Prvi dio praktičnog rada bavi se modeliranjem i vizualizacijom 3D sadržaja, dok je drugi dio fokusiran na postavljanje potrebnih parametara za generiranje 3D scene unutar programa za 3D grafiku u svrhu izrade računalno generiranih holograma.

Abstract in english: This paper focuses in computer generated holography. The theoretical part is focused on the history and development of holography. The techniques for producing holograms based on a computer generated content are outlined, focusing on different approaches of polygonal modeling, content animation by virtual camera and rendering.The extended capabilities of using digital holograms for a variety of applications are also outlined in a detailed way. In addition the way of creating digital content for a hologram is described based on the personal experience of generating this content. 3D software Autodesk Maya is used for presentation of basic principles and methods in 3D graphics witch are mostly universal. The first practical part of the work is focused on modeling and vizualisation of 3D content, while the second part focuses on setting up the necessary parameters to generate a 3D scene within the program for 3D graphics in order to develop a computer generated holograms.
