Abstract

Brzi razvoj interneta omogućio je sveprisutnu integraciju teksta, zvuka, slike, videa i interaktivnih elemenata u jednu cjelinu koju nazivamo multimedijom. Ti sadržaji daju bogate prezentacijske mogućnosti, korištenjem naprednih tehnoloških rješenja. U radu se istražuju mogućnosti te prezentiraju tehnike i praktični primjeri korištenja novih web tehnologija koja što su HTML5 i CSS3 u kreiranju sadržaja za potrebe suvremenog web 2.0 okruženja. Uz kritički osvrt na trenutno stanje i primjenu najbolje prakse želi se pokazati kako se tim tehnologijama može olakšati razvoj multimedijalnih web stranica i pružiti korisnicima kvalitetnije web okruženje.

Abstract in english:	The rapid development of Internet has enabled ubiquitous integration of text, sound, images, videos and interactive elements into one entity that we call multimedia. These contents provide a rich presentation capabilities, using advanced technological solutions. This paper explores the possibilities and presents techniques and practical examples of using new web technology such as HTML5 and CSS3 in content creation for the needs modern web 2.0 environment. With critical review of current status and application of best practices the intention is to show how these technologies can facilitate the development of multimedia web pages and give users, a better web environment.
