Abstract

Abstract in english: | The paper presents new methods in hiding graphic information for the purpose of security against counterfeiting. The subject-matter covers typography steganography with stochastic infrared color distribution. The CMYKIR method of printing color separation is improved by setting the general design procedure within the designed printing colors. Double typography graphics: one is determined for the 400 to 700 nm area and the other only in the near infrared light from 700 to 1000 nm. It is not possible to reproduce the information carried out with the help of graphic techniques including the infrared effect by using the known techniques. By interpreting the indexed pseudocolors it will be possible to study multiple pieces of information with printing technologies in a new manner. The dependency of CMYK dyes is proved in respect to printing technology and color settings for each printing technology with expansion to the infrared area. It is possible to carry out typography steganography or that of any other graphic element only on a device with the assigned printing technology for the dyes it had originally been made for. There are limitations as to the color space for those colors that are not applicable for steganography. With random choice of the carbon K black component steganography is stressed, i.e. the hiding of information with the help of printing techniques. The greater the number of different colors found in the graphic element visible to the human eye, the less is it probable that the eye will notice the hidden information. Following this goal multi-color choices have been proposed with new algorithms in the area of stochastics in computer graphics. On basis of experimental work the goal has been achieved and proven – that of enhancing the security against counterfeiting in securities or any other documents. General relations in infrared color settings have been given for the CMYKIR color space depending on the initial colors composed of CMY process components only. The method is introduced of creating one's own color settings for certain printing technologies. This enables steganography in any printing technology and on different materials. As proposed in this paper, steganography opens new possibilities of hiding information in graphic technology, as well as printed matter security, designing of double images visible in two different stages: if observed in the human eye visual range, and in the near infrared spectral range. In case of printing two physically different CMYK dyes, and of the same color tone in the RGB recognized by the human vision eye, it is possible to create continuous appearance of intensity reflection in the infrared spectrum. Up till now such an approach has not been used as a steganographic system for hiding information. |
