Abstract

Vreće su jedan od najstarijih oblika ambalaže. Zbog svoje fleksibilnosti prazne vreće zauzimaju mali prostor pa su troškovi njihova skladištenja i transporta niski. Odlikuju se malom masom u odnosu na volumen, pa svojom težinom tek neznatno opterećuju troškove transporta pakiranog proizvoda. Zahvaljujući dobrim svojstvima, mogućnosti oplemenjivanja i niskoj cijeni papir zajedno s kartonom i ljepenkom danas su jedan od najzastupljenijih ambalažnih materijala. Kod papirnatih vreća traži se da materijal od kojeg je vreća napravljena ima dobre fizičke, kemijske i mehaničke osobine. U vreće se pakiraju sipki proizvodi i to: prehrambeni, građevinski materijali, kemijski proizvodi. Napunjene vreće imaju pogodan oblik za sve vrste unutrašnjeg transporta, a osobito se mogu dobro slagati u skladištima, transportnim vozilima i na paletama. Suvremena industrija papira proizvodi veliki broj različitih vrsta papira koji se razlikuju prema sirovinama iz kojih se proizvode, namjeni i postupcima dorade. Kraft papir proizvodi se iz sulfatne celuloze dugih vlakanaca i drvenjače, a bitna karakteristika mu je velika čvrstoća i podatnost te ima veliku sposobnost istezanja na vlak i otpornost na kidanje i probijanje. Kraft papir se proizvodi u različitim gramaturama, bijeli i smeđi, isporučuju se u rolama, a dijele se u dvije osnovne skupine: standard kraft papiri i „semi extensible“ papiri. Ovaj diplomski rad opisat će mehanička svojstva kraft papira neophodna za izradu papirnatih vreća.

Abstract in english: Bags are among the most ancient forms of packaging. Because of their flexibility, empty bags occupy little space and the cost of their storage and transportation is low. They are characterized by small mass compared to their volume so their weight has little influence on the transportation cost of the packaged product. Thanks to their good properties, the possibility of enrichment and low price, paper and cardboard are today among the most used packaging materials. Paper bag material must have good physical, chemical and mechanical properties. Bags are used for packaging of grainy products like: foodstuffs, construction materials and chemical products. Filled bags have a shape which is appropriate for all kinds of enclosed transportation; they can be stacked in warehouses, transport vehicles and on pallets. Modern paper industry produces large quantities of various types of paper which are differentiated by raw materials used in their production, their application and final processing. Kraft paper is produced from cellulose sulphate and other fibres and pulp, and its main characteristic is its high strength and its pliability, it has high elasticity and tear and puncture resistance. Kraft paper is produced in different grammage, white and brown, delivered in roles and divided in two main groups: standard kraft paper and semi extensible kraft paper. This thesis will be describing the mechanical properties of kraft paper necessary for production of paper bags.
