Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je odrediti u kojoj mjeri čitatelji novina mogu vizualno uočiti razlike u kvaliteti novinskog otiska ako su pogreške u tisku unutar tolerancija ISO standarda za novinski tisak. Kako bi ispitanici lakše odredili razlike u otisku, trebali su odrediti razlike između otiska originala i testiranog primjerka. Napravio se otisak na novinskom papiru koji se sastoji od tri slike s različitim motivima. Denzitometrijski se izmjerila gustoća obojenja na svim poljima RTV i to za svaku boju posebno. S pomoću izmjerenih vrijednosti i Murray-Davies formule izračunao se ukupni prirast RTV za svaki uzorak i svaku boju. Tada su se nacrtale krivulje prirasta RTV iz kojih je vidljivo odstupanje izračunatog ukupnog prirasta RTV i teoretskog prirasta RTV koji je određen prema simulaciji smanjenja ili povećanja ukupnog prirasta RTV. Tada su se utvrdile subjektivne kvalitete otisaka, i to bodovanjem razlika testiranih uzoraka i originala. Nakon toga su se usporedili subjektivni i objektivni rezultati.

Abstract in english:	The purpose of this work was to define the measure of how the newspaper readers can notice the differences in quality of newspaper print if the mistakes in print are in the tolerances of ISO standards for newspaper print. The examinees should have defined the differeces between the original print and the example that was tested, in that way they could define the print differences easier. There was a three picture print made on (news)paper with different motives. The density of coloring was measured by densitometry method on all RTV-fields for each color especially. With the obtained values and with the help of the Murray-Davies formula the dot gain was calculated for each sample and for each color. Than the curves of dot gain were made which show the deviation of the calculated total dot gain and of the theoretical dot gain, which is defined by the simulation of reduction or increase of the dot gain. Than were defined the subjective qualities of prints by scoring the differences of the tested samples and the originals. After that, the subjective and the objective results were compared.
