Abstract

Abstract in english: | High standards are set up for printing technology of postage stamps, as security papers, based on Infraredesign theory. Fighting the counterfeiters, there is a constant need for new security features. Printing process is subject to utilization of innovations and new patents. This work is dedicated to developing multilayered protection of postage stamps to ensure its' authenticity. New protective features are designed, based on technology of hiding Z image in visible image. Models of screening elements are set in the extended spectral area from 400 to 1000nm. Conventional screening is replaced with uniquely designed screens to produce dispersion of edges of graphic. Such dispersion significantly improves hiding abilities. Design of new postage stamp is carried out with planned spot colors with parameter Z. Eight color spot CMYKIR separation with four VS/IR twin colors is set up and experimentally proven in designing new postage stamp. Detailed calculations of Z spot colors are carried out, for purpose of creating double information. New algorithms are given that deal with optimization of graphics for visible and infrared part of the spectrum. Six new models of CMYKIR separation are carried out that reply to specific problems which are encountered in various design demands. Through experimental examples of postage stamps detailed analysis is carried out of known issues in realization of prints with hidden graphics. Extended theory of CMYKIR separation is applied to new postage stamps. Experimental examples of stamp design use new Z spot colors in CMYKIR separation. Combining such graphics with individualized screen shapes produces total hiding of infrared information in the visible part of the spectrum. Protection of newly designed postage stamp is superior to existing protection elements because it cannot be reproduced in a conventional way. At the same time, high standards for designing rich graphics are satisfied. Also double space is gained for designing information which is important because of limited dimensions of postage stamp. |
