Abstract

Abstract in english: Photo is regarded as a universally understandable medium, and as such is defined through the implementation of three-dimensional reality into a two-dimensional image or frame. The development of digital photography enabled a wider commercial use of programs for image processing which reduces attention to a very important composition. This is increasing the demand for consideration and study of the composition and its rules and applications. Photography that is considered successful is the one that attracts and retains the observer's eye and transmits thoughts and visions of photographers. For the photograph to be more attractive and striking, besides the optimal brightness, contrast, sharpness and color, it must be properly framed. A survey is carried out as a part of this work to collect data for researching frames and their different characteristics: how that affects the human perception of the subconscious mind on the attractiveness of certain framed photos. Examining the size and position of the subject of the scene is done in several ways, as well as the orientation of photos and the ability of respondents to recognize photos that are properly composed.
