Abstract

Abstract in english: Time-lapse is a technique of photographing a certain scene changing slowly in intervals of time.Connecting those photographs into a video with a larger speed produces a whole scene in a time period. Time-lapse and Stop-motion are animation techniques that are used in computer graphics. Particular techniques have many mutual characteristics, but are used for very different purposes. Both of those techniques have been frequently used, but today they are less popular, although, on a certain level, still present. The purpose of this paper is not only the description of Time-lapse and Stop-motion techniques and their mutual characteristics, but also the description of necessary equipment needed, and a practical use of the time-lapse technique.
