Abstract

Tema završnog rada je istraživanje tilt-shift efekta u fotografiji, popularnog efekta kojim se stvara dojam minijature, odnosno objekti vizualno izgledaju manji nego što zaista jesu zbog male dubinske oštrine. Tilt-shift objektivi daju najbolje rezultate pri izradi lažne minijature, no to se također može postići digitalnom obradom. Cilj ovog rada je istražiti mogućnosti programa za obradu fotografije kojima se može simulirati taj efekt. U teoretskom dijelu se pobliže definira i objašnjava tilt-shift efekt te obrađuju različita digitalna rješenja u svrhu ostvarivanja istog, dok se u praktičnom dijelu analiziraju procesi u kojima se on stvara pomoću programa za digitalnu obradu fotografije i različitim simulacijama ispituju mogućnosti njegove primjene.

Abstract in english: The topic of the final paper is the research of the tilt-shift effect in photography, a popular effect that creates an impression of a miniature scene where objects visually appear smaller than they actually are because of the small depth of field. Tilt-shift lens give the best results in miniature scene making, but it can also be done by digital postprocessing. The goal of this paper is to explore the possibilities of applications for image processing that can simulate this effect. The theoretical part more closely defines and explains the tilt-shift effect and processes different digital solutions in order to achieve the same, while the practical part analyzes the processes which create it by using digital image processing and with variety of simulations the possibilities of its use are explored.
