Abstract

U ovome radu biti će prikazani rezultati istraživanja koje se provelo u svrhu oblikovanja ulične igre pod nazivom Tesla Street Game: SUPER-VID. Okosnica rada je upitnik proveden u svrhu dobivanja uvida u navike igranja igara ispitanika te finalni proizvod u obliku materijala za uličnu igru. Igra je univerzalni dio ljudskog iskustva prisutan u svim kulturama još od prapovijesti. To je sustav u kojemu postoji borba između različitih moći koja je ograničena pravilima. Postoje četiri osnovna elementa igre, a to su mehanika, priča, estetika i tehnologija. Igra je formirana tako što su joj dana pravila, granice i predmeti, a ciljevi su ono što pokreće istraživanje igrača i stvara napetost. Cilj istraživanja bio je dobiti uvid u navike ispitanika kada su u pitanju igre kako bi moglo biti utvrđeno koji je optimalni format ulične igre. Od instrumenata za prikupljanje podataka korišten je online anketni upitnik, ljestvice procjene i za rangiranje. Od postupaka korišteno je anketiranje, procjenjivanje i rangiranje. Sudionici istraživanja bili su ciljna skupina igre, studenti i mladi ljudi od 18-34 godine. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 352 ispitanika od kojih su 202 pripadnice ženskog te 150 pripadnika muškog spola. Igra oblikovana prema rezultatima istraživanja temelji se na prepoznavanju figura i obilježja u apstraktnim oblicima. Ideja je da igra na zabavan način omogućava upoznavanje ulice što u daljnjim tokovima igre pruža primjenu prethodnog iskustva u rješavanju izazova.

Abstract in english: This paper will show the results of a research conducted with the purpose of designing a street game called Tesla Street Game: SUPER-VID. The focal point of this paper is a questionnaire that was carried out for the objective of gaining insight into the gaming habits of the participants and the final product in the form of street game materials. A game is a unique human experience present in all cultures since the prehistoric times. It is a system limited by rules in which exists a struggle between powers. There are four basic elements of a game: mechanics, stories, aesthetics and technology. Games are formed in a way that they are given rules, limits, objects and goals. Goals are what drives the player’s motivation and creates tension. The aim of this research was to gain insight into the habits of the participants in order to determine the optimal street game format. Instruments used for collecting data were an online questionnaire, assessment scale and ranking scale. Methods used were surveying, assessment and ranking. Participants of the research were the target group of the game, students and young people from ages 18 to 34. The study was conducted on a sample of 352 participants of which 202 were female and 150 male. The game shaped by the results of the research is based on recognition of characters in abstract forms. The idea is that the game enables getting to know the street better in a fun way and for players to interact with each other and the surrounding space.
