Abstract

Iako je postupak bezvodnog ofsetnog tiska poznat desetak i više godina, u radu se opisuju prednosti, pa i zanemarivi nedostatci ove tehnike tiska, u odnosu na konvencionalni ofsetni tisak. Takoder su objašnjeni postupci izrade tiskovnih formi te karakteristike ostalih parametara koje je potrebno zadovoljiti da bi se dobio kvalitetan otisak. U eksperimentalnom dijelu dani su rezultati istraživanja koje je provedeno u tiskari „ISPIS“ na stroju Presstek 34DI. Primjerci su otisnuti na tri razlicite vrste papira. Mjerena je gustoca obojenja na poljima: 2%, 5%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 97%, 99% i puno polje, te je izracunat prirast rastertonske vrijednosti. Mjerenja su obavljena rucnim denzitometrom, a prirast RTV je izracunat iz Murray-Davies-ove formule.

Abstract in english: Although the process of waterless press has been known for a ten something years now, this paper is discussing its advantages with its regardless shortcomings, considering conventional offset printing. The processes of plate making and the properties of other parameters necessary for quality print are explained as well. Experimental part of the paper brings the results of study conducted in „ISPIS“ print house on Presstek 34DI printing machine. Samples are printed on three different kinds of paper. Density is measured on the strip fields: 2%, 5%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 97%, 99% and 100%. Dot gain is derived from it. Measurements are taken with desk densitometer, whilst dot gain is derived with use of Murray-Davies formula.
