Abstract

Održivi dizajn je nužna potreba u grafičkoj industriji jer kao i u svim ostalim industrijama održivost postaje kriterij ekologije i kvalitete. Naš okoliš ima ograničene količine sirovina koje možemo koristiti i iz tog razloga s njima moramo raspolagati oprezno i mudro. Odluke koje dizajner donosi prilikom kreiranja grafičkog proizvoda od velike su važnosti jer diktiraju tehnološke i kemijske procese potrebe za izradu tog proizvoda, određuju potrošnju materijla i energije ali i mogućnost ponovnog iskorištenja. Kako bi taj proces dizajneru bio bliži, kreirani su mnogi alati koji osiguravaju potrebne informacije i nude dizajneru razna rješenja kojima svoj proizvod može učiniti održivim. Svrha ovog rada je studij pravila koja bi se trebalo koristiti u dizajnu u kontekstu ekologije i održivog razvoja. Veliku važnost ima i odabir materijala što nije nimalo jednostavan zadatak budući su čimbenici koji određuju štetnost raznoliki i mnogobrojni stoga je teško odrediti optimum. U radu se opisuju rjesenja i diskutira se prije navedena problematika.. Neke od metoda za ocjenu štetnosti materijala i softweri koji olakšavaju rješenja prikazuju se u ovom radu.

Abstract in english: Sustainable design is one of the crucial necessities in graphic industry because, like in every other industry, sustainabillity is becoming a criteria for ecology and quality. Our environment has only limited quantities of resources, this is the reason why we have to manage them wisely and carefully. While designing their products, designers have to make some very important decisions. Those decisions are going to dictate further technological and chemical proceses needed to produce our product, they also dictate material and energy consumption and the posibillity of reuse. There are many tools created in purpose of making these tasks more accessible for designers, containing lots of informations and offering some of the solutions. We are going to dedicate our atention to the some of the most important ones; „Information / Inspiration“ and „The ten golden rules“. Choosing the right material is no simple task becaouse of the variety of environmental factors making it hard to determine the optimum.Luckaly, scientists and analysts have came to solutions for this type of problem. Some of the methods for determinig adversity of materials and the softvares performing these tasks will also be explained in this thesis.
