Abstract

Mogućnosti koje pruža digitalna obrada fotografije danas su nebrojene, fotografija se njihovom upotrebom podiže na viši nivo kvalitete i kreativnosti, bilo riječ o amateru ili profesionalcu. Termin retuš označava bilo kakvu manipulaciju slike, koju je moguće izvesti na digitalnoj datoteci, a podrazumijeva više alata i tehnika kojima se poboljšavaju odlike fotografije van okvira mogućih u trenutku snimanja fotografije. Ovisno o namjeni fotografije i vrsti portreta, određuje se kategorija obrade, te način i postupci kojima će se postići željeni cilj. Iako je svaki proces retuširanja individualan, oni ipak dijele osnovnu metodologiju koja dovodi do uspješne realizacije.

Abstract in english:	Possibilities of digital retouching today are enourmous, they enable elevating a photography to a higher level of quality and creativity, whether you are an amateur, or a professional. The term retouching refers to just about any image manipulation that can be done to a digital file, and it is mostly about tools and techniques which are used to improve an image beyond what was capable at the time the image was captured by the camera. Depending on the purpose of the photography, and the type of the taken portrait, the category of retouch is assessed, and all the means to its accomplishment. Although every retouching process is individual, they all share the same methodology which leads to a successfull realization.
