Abstract

U diplomskom se radu analizira i razjašnjuje formiranje moderne fotografije. Moderna se fotografija definira kao pojam, tj. period, u kojem su tehničke karakteristike tadašnjih fotografskih sustava prestale biti ograničavajući faktor u kreativnom radu autora-fotografa. Iako ne postoje oštre granice ovog perioda može se kao simbolički početak uzeti pojava Leica fotografskog aparata sredinom dvadesetih godina 20. stoljeća. U to je vrijeme već bio razvijen crno-bijeli negativ-pozitiv fotografski sustav, a u sljedećih se tridesetak godina javljaju i kolor fotografski sustavi koji su se do danas održali u klasičnoj fotografiji. Ovakav je tehnički razvoj doprinijeo i razvoju fotografskih stilova koji se analiziraju u ovome radu. Ovdje se prvenstveno misli na fotografski subjektivizam i fotografski rad u Bauhausu, ali i na pojavu i razvoj fotografije u prvim ilustriranim magazinima te pojavu agencije Magnum. Osim ovih stilova, javljaju se i razvijaju stilovi fotografskog dokumentarizma i dinamizma te je sve prisutnija i tzv. angažirana fotografija. Kroz diplomski se rad analiziraju ovi fotografski stilovi te fotografski rad najznačajnijih predstavnika ovih stilova kao i njihov utjecaj na fotografiju kakva je danas poznata.

Abstract in english: The graduate paper aims to clarify and analyze the formation of modern photography. Modern photography is defined as a concept, ie a period in which the technical characteristics of the photographic system then ceased to be a limiting factor in the creative work of the author-photographer. Although there are no sharp boundaries of this period can be taken as the symbolic beginning of the emergence of Leica photographic camera in the mid twenties of the 20th century. At the time, but was developed in black and white negative-positive photographic system, and in the next thirty years there and color photographic systems that have taken place to date in the classical picture. This has contributed to technical development and the development of photographic styles, which are analyzed in this paper. In addition to these styles, there are also styles of documentary photography to develop and dynamism that is all pervasive and so. engaged photography. Through graduate work analyzing these photographic styles and photographic work of the most important representatives of these styles and their impact on the photo as it is known today.
