Abstract

Abstract in english: | The claim that a picture speaks more than words is the evidence that visual approach can be more powerful than verbal. The study of one’s personality through the camera system was created in an effort to ‘strip away’ a person without the use of verbal expression, where the camera is a unique tool that allows that. Photography provides an opportunity for expression of selective information and focusing on the individual ones, and for this reason the study of personality is a visual display of specific information that can be interpreted just by looking at the picture. At a time when the study of personality was developing as a photographic technique, the camera system already achieved impressive progress, but the digital still didn’t provide opportunities that are available to us today. One of those options is a photographic montage. This work focuses on the visual expression of the model’s 4 personality and representation of the strength of photographic montage, as it can further emphasize one’s personality traits. The work consists of two parts, theoretical and practical, where the theoretical work investigates the photographic study of personality, its formation, development and goals. The practical part consist of an attached portfolio of images captured in a photographic studio. Every image shows the technique of the study of personality with the photographic montage built-in. |
