Abstract

Abstract in english: High Key and Low Key pictures are classified as photographic techniques. They have opposite character. Their compositions are based on very bright or very dark tones. High key contains the most highly luminous tones or completely white with a small proportion of dark tones. Extremely low values of tonal range are specific to low key with a small proportion of light tones. Character of the High key photography is bright and clear unlike the low key, which is cloudy and mystical. It is important to note that these are low contrast images. The contrast is expressed only in the local area photos, so-called points of interest. This thesis describes a procedure for recording and processing images. It contains the author's views outlined installation of lighting for each technique. The theoretical part is followed by analysis of photographs and their digital processing steps. Tools for digital processing are described on specific examples which are showing defects and quality of their use.
