Abstract
Pošto ovakva tehnika izrade transfer otiska nije uvelike raširena, u eksperimentalnom dijelu rada, ocijenjena je i uspoređena kvaliteta i postojanost s otiscima dobivenim uvriježenim tehnologijama (Inkjet).

Abstract in english: | Printing on thermal transfer paper or foil and direct printing to garment (DTG) copying it on textile is subject of this thesis. Prints were made on papers and foils which can be printed on laser and Inkjet printers. In most cases today where are small amount of copies, prints are made on Inkjet printers and Inkjet intended printing substrates. These kind of printing substrates aren't compatible with laser printers which demands high temperatures during toner fixing and it may melt substrate. Expanding digital print requests for thermal transfer substrates increased and markets with these substrates offers more thermal transfer printing products. Since this kind of print transfer technique isnt commercialized, in experimental part of thesis quality and durability of digital prints were evaluated and compared with prints that are made with common print technologies such as Inkjet. Influence of thermal transfer type was also explored in order to verify that all kinds of substrates wont provide same quality and durability of digital prints. Images were pressed with different kinds of digital printing techniques such as xerography (laser) and Inkjet on different kinds of thermal transfer substrates. Using thermal press, printed media were applied on textile. It can be conclude that type of thermal transfer substrate reflects on quality and durability of textile print. |
