Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu pozabavili smo se pojmom fotomontaže, obradili njenu povijest i razvijak kroz razne umjetničke pravce. Kako se i na koji način prije Photoshopa razvijala fotomontaža i fotomanipulacija, otkrit će nam neki poznati fotografi zaslužni za prve kreativne manipulacije. Razradili smo razne načine manipulacije fotografijom te nabrojali programe koji se koriste, od onih starijih s klasičnim tehnikama do modernig "digitalnih" koje se u današnje vrijeme naviše i koriste. Manipulacija fotografijom u politici, modi, marketingu danas postaje neizbježna. Alati za fotomotaže i obradu fotografija postali su svima dostupni, mnogima često i vrlo jednostavni za korištenje. Danas se u svijetu javlja sve veća potreba za korištenjem fotografije kao važnog elementa u oblikovanju grafičkog proizvoda, a fotomontaža je postala sve češći oblik kreativne obrade fotografije i vrlo koristan element vizualnog izgleda samog grafičkog proizvoda. Na konkretnom primjeru pozabavili smo se postupkom nastajanja fotomontaže, a praktični dio rada sastoji se od nizova fotografija na kojima prikazujemo različite tehnike fotomontaže, od osnovne fotografije do finalnog rješenja.

Abstract in english:	In this thesis we dealt with the term photomontage, covered its history and the way in which it evolved into numerous artistic directions. How and in which way photomontage developed before Photoshop, we will show through some wellknown photographers who contributed to some of the first photo manipulations. We have developed numerous ways to manipulate a photograph, and also listed programs that are used, from the older ones with classic techniques to the modern “digital” ones that are mostly used today. Photo manipulation in politics, the fashion industry and in marketing, is becoming inevitable nowadays. The tools necessary for photomontage and photo editing have become widely accessible, and to some even simple to use. In todays world it appears that the demand for the use of photography as an important element in the development of graphic products, and photomontage has become a progressively common form of creative photo editing and a very valuable element of the visual appearance of the graphic product. For a tangible example, we dealt with the formation process of photomontage, and the practical part of the thesis consists of a series of photographs in which we will be showing the different techniques of photomontage; from basic photography to the final solution.
