Abstract

U završnom radu „Oblikovanje reklamnog kataloga“ govori se o izradi reklamnog kataloga. Rad objašnjava određene korake koji su nužni u procesu grafičkog dizajniranja. Da bi izradili dobar reklamni katalog, treba postaviti jasan cilj koji se želi postići, kao i definirati poruku i raspoloženje koje se želi prenijeti katalogom. Važno je znati koje je ciljano tržište te kakav se izgled kataloga želi oblikovati. Kataloški dizajner svojim dizajnom preuzima dio odgovornosti za prodaju proizvoda i zato treba promišljeno odabrati modele koji će promovirati reklamne proizvode, u ovom katalogu torbice i nakit. U uvodnom dijelu rada riječ je o osnovnim promotivnim sredstvima kao što su letak, brošura, prospekt i katalog, koje susrećemo svakodnevno u šetnji gradom, pod brisačima automobila, u poštanskom sandučiću ili ih dobivamo na kućnu adresu. Daljnji tekst navodi čega se treba pridržavati pri izradi kataloga, odnosno koja pravila treba poštovati, kao i na što treba obratiti pozornost pri korištenju fotografija. Rad također obrađuje i funkcionalnu i estetsku ulogu tipografije. U završetku se govori o samoj izradi ovog kataloga, u kojem je programu izrađen te koji su ostali efekti korišteni da bi upotpunili dizajn kataloga.

Abstract in english: The final paper “The designing of the advertising catalogue” deals with the creating of the advertising catalogue. The paper explains essential steps which are to be followed in the process of graphic designing of the catalogue. In order to create a quality advertising catalogue, it is important to set clear objectives, and to define the message and the mood of the catalogue. Further on, it is necessary to identify the target market, as well as to decide on the outlook and the design of the catalogue. The catalogue designer is responsible for the sale of the products; therefore, he or she has to carefully choose models who will promote the product, in this catalogue handbags and jewelry. The introduction of the final paper focuses on the basic means of promotion such as leaflets, brochures and catalogues, which can be seen daily – while walking in the town, under the windscreen wiper or in the letterbox. The following text states the rules which are to be followed in creating a catalogue; it gives important hints which are useful in the phase of choosing photos for the catalogue. The paper also deals with the functional and aesthetic role of photography. The final part of the paper explains the process of catalogue making, defines the programme in which it is made, and talks about other effects used in creating the catalogue.
