Abstract

AGI je osnovan u Parizu 1951. Osnovala su ga petorica francuskih i švicarskih dizajnera, ali se proširio i postao asocijacija 200 vodećih grafičkih dizajnera iz cijelog svijeta. Članstvo u AGI-ju je proizvoljno i samo najutjecajniji dizajneri mogu postati članovima AGI-ja. Sjedište mu je u Zurichu; kongresi se održavaju jednom godišnje, jednako kao i redovite izložbe radova njegovih članova. AGI je član ICOGRADA-e i nastoji promovirati grafički dizajn kao sredstvo komunikacije, informacije i edukacije.

Abstract in english:	AGI was funded in Paris 1951 by five french and swiss designers, but was extended to become an association of 200 liding graphic designers drawn from acrros the world. Membership of AGI is by inovation and is only extended to the most distinguished of practioners. It is based in Zurich and congresess are held annually as well as regular exibitions of members work. AGI is member of the ICOGRADA and seeks to promote graphic design as a means of communication, information and education.
