Abstract

Abstract in english: The leading idea of this project was to provide the use of digital camera as quantitative laboratory spectrometer for recording transmission spectra, in order to examine the optical properties of the transparent printing materials. Measurements of optical properties of transparent printing materials indicate the possibility of monitoring changes and differences similar reproductions printed on different substrates, which provides insight and influential role of physical processes on the quality of prints. Perception of reproduced color and its tone are determined with the interaction of electromagnetic radiation and prints, which primarily depends on the light wavelength and the angle of incident light, as well as largely about external conditions and the printed substrate. Incoming radiation on the printing substrate is partly transmitted, which depends on substrate optical properties. Transmission of light is a key factor that affects the reproduction appearance of transparent prints (transmission coefficient > 0). In accordance with the above-defined area of interest, detreminated through the monitoring of the structure and properties of used materials, the examed results are observed in the area of basic spectrometry principles.
