Abstract

U ovom radu prikazuje se postupak ilustriranja i dizajniranja naslovnice dječje knjige. Teorijski dio rada obrađuje pojam dječje ilustracije i njen razvoj kroz povijest. Spominju se neki ilustatori današnjice, te se objašnjava pojam digitalne ilustracije. U praktičnom dijelu rada iznosi se osvrt na izradu naslovnica knjiga Kronike iz Narnije; dječjeg ciklusa koji se sastoji od sedam knjiga, djelo autora C.S.Lewisa.

Abstract in english:	In this paper, there will bi shown the procedure of book cover illustration and design. The theoretical part will cover children illustration, and its evolution trough history. There are listed some of today’s most famous illustrators, and there are explained some of the basic guidelines to digital illustration. In the practical part it’s followed the making of illustrated cover for the books The Chronicles of Narnia; a children’s saga of seven books, written by C.S.Lewis.
