Abstract

Abstract in english: | This paper examines photocopier paper absorption of different types of paper that are available on Croatian market: Report, Biromax and IQ. After determination of mass percentage of moisture, ash and calcium carbonate of the photocopier paper the absorption examination is made using the Cobb method. During the process of evaluation of paper absorption, we change condition of rapid aging, time (from 4,5 h to 0,5 h) and temperature (from 22°C to 120°C). Results show that absorption is signifi cantly changing in accordance with the change of rapid aging time of photocopier paper. When the temperature increased (from 22°C to 120°C) the aging period of Report photocopier paper at 120°C was 4,5 h, Biromax photocopier paper at 120°C was 1 h and that of IQ photocopier paper at 120°C was only 0,5 h. |
