Abstract

Značenje identiteta, kao šireg pojma, je karakter, individualnost, skup karakteristika pomoću kojih se nešto može prepoznati i razlikovati. Vizualni identitet jest vizualizacija identiteta odnosno onaj vidljivi dio njegovih karakteristika. Znakovi su glavne stavke izrade identiteta danas, jer se vizualni simboli najlakše pamte pa tvrtke sa razrađenim identitetom mogu ostati prepoznatljive unatoč velikoj konkurenciji. U ovom radu analizirati će se tvrtka Explanta i njen prijašnji logotip te će se prezentirati novi vizualni identitet, koji je prihvaćen kao službeno rješenje. Rješenje je prikazano u obliku knjige grafičkih standarda kojom se opisuje primjena dizajna na osnovnim medijima.

Abstract in english: Character, individuality, the complex of characteristics that make an identity possible to recognize and differ it from other, makes significance of identity. Visual identity is, nothing less than visualization of identity itself. Signs are main component in making identities nowadays, because a visual symbol is the most easiest to remember. That is why companies with refined and unique identity are able to stay recognizable despite intense competition. This work will introduce the analysis of the company Explanta and its previous logotype, after which follows presentation of the idea for the new visual identity, which was accepted as final solution. It is presented as the book of grafic standards that shows application of design on various media.
