Abstract

Izum knjige jednako je važan kao izum kotača. Zabilježene misli, poruke i iskustva pokretale su čovječanstvo prema razvitku. Knjiga je pratila čovjekov rast u znanju. Od svojeg rođenja pa do danas knjiga je prolazila kroz različite oblike, izrađivana je od svakovrsnih materijala. Bila je predmet obožavanja i statusni simbol, izvor znanja i nadahnuća. Zbog svojeg sadržaja, bila je zabranjivana i uništavana. Burna povijest knjige ukratko je opisana u prvom dijelu ovog rada. U njemu se opisuje razvoj: pisaćih materijala, tiskarstva, knjižne ilustracije itd. Drugi dio rada vodi nas kroz grafičko rješenje knjige „Samo za stotu ovcuˮ autora patera Marka Glogovića. Pomoću primjera iz knjige „Samo za stotu ovcuˮ opisuju se standardni dijelovi današnje knjige. Prikazano je i opisano grafičko oblikovanje: tekućeg teksta, cjelokupne stranice, ilustracija, korica i drugih dijelova knjige.

Abstract in english:	Invention of book is important as the invention of wheel. Recorded thoughts, messages and experiences driven humankind towards to development. Book followed humans growth of knowledge. Since the book was originated to these days book has been transformed in many different shapes and was made of all kinds of materials. It was an object of worship and a status symbol, source of knowledge and inspiration. Because of her content, it has often been prohibited and destroyed. Turbulent history of book shortly is described in the first section of this labor. It has a description about development of: printing materials, press, book illustrations etc. Second part of this labor is taking us through graphical solution of the book „Just for the hundredth sheep“ written by priest Marko Glogović. With the assistance of examples from this book, standard parts of todays book are described. It is shown and described graphich design of: flowing text, whole page, illustrations, book covers and other parts of this book.
