Abstract

Fenomen medija i njegovog utjecaja na ljude u suvremenom multimedijskom okružju promatra se iz raznih istraživačko-znanstvenih kutova. Općeprihvaćene su četiri faze razvoja istraživanja o medijima: Svemoć medija, Mediji bez utjecaja, Ponovno otkrivanje snažnog utjecaja medija, Transakcijske ideje o utjecaju medija. Klasična istraživanja utjecaja medija kroz različite faze postavljala su pitanja što mediji čine s recipijentima, ali danas je ključno pitanje na temelju kojih motiva recipijenti koriste medije.Promatrajući čovjeka kao glavnog recipijenta masovne komunikacije u suvremenom multimedijskom okružju, vrlo se često postavlja pitanje koliki je zapravo utjecaj te komunikacije na samog čovjeka. Pod pojmom "utjecaji" podrazumijevamo sve procese koji se u postkomunikacijskoj fazi odvijaju kao posljedica multimedijske masovne komunikacije. Utjecaje možemo promatrati na četiri razine: psihičke, fizičke, direktne i indirektne. Jednako je važno vrednovati poruku i recipijenta kao i same komunikatore. Važan aspekt utjecaja medija je vjerodostojnost komunikatora. U djelovanju masovne komunikacije, glavnu ulogu imaju interpersonalni komunikacijski kanali. To bi značilo model tijeka komunikacije na dvije razine. Konkretnije, poruke masovnih medija najprije dolaze do kreatora javnog mišljenja koji zatim širi te poruke do manje aktivne populacije.

Abstract in english: The Phenomen of media and its impact on the people in the contemporary multimedia environment is viewed from a variety of research and scientific angles. Generally accepted as the four stage of the development in research on media: Omnipotence media, Media without the influence, Radiscovery of the strong influence of the media, Transaction ideas abaut the influence of the media. Classical studies the impact of media throught different phases are asking questions what make with the recipients, but today is a key issue on which motive the recipients use media. Observing at the man as the main recipient of mass communication in the contemporary multimedia enviroments, very often raises the question how much is the influences of this communication on the man. By term ''impact'' we mean all the processes that are taking place in post-communication stage as a result of the media off mass communication. Effects can be observed at four levels: mental, physical, direct and indirect.It is equally important to evaluate the message and the recipient as well as the communicators. An important aspect of the impact of the media is credibility communicators. The workings of mass communication, the main role is played by interpersonal communication channels. That would mean the model flow of communication on two levels. More specifically, the messages of the mass media first come to public opinion who then spread these messages to less active population.
