Abstract

Abstract in english: When speaking of term screen, then it's meant about the technique of screening. As a result of screening, a screen element is made. In this thesis, screen element on different printing surfaces printed in fleksoprinting technique will be observed. Fleksoprinting appertains to letterpress printing and it is very popular technique due to its extraordinary convenience of printing on different printing surfaces. Except for that; fleksoprinting is characterized by excellent quality which is followed by favorable prices, fast printing process, ability of usage water based dyes, solvent and UV colorants, good color coverage, and simplicity of this printing technique with short preparation for production. Fleksoprinting in this thesis will be processed through chapters which will describe its history, machines that are used nowadays, advantages and disadvantages, dyes, colorants and surfaces which are suitable for printing process. Also will be mentioned screening, deformations of screen elements and reasons why do these deformations occur. In experimental part of this thesis, by usage of microscope, small aberrations and deformations of screen elements at different types of surfaces despite of equal conditions of printing, apropos equal machine pressure and dyes, will be observed. Reason for that lies in fact that characteristics of individual type of surface is relevant factor and fact that same dye has to adjust towards surface for which is used.
