Abstract

Abstract in english: | Graphics industry as well as many other modern industries produces large amounts of waste material. All publications, from newspapers, brochures, catalogs, posters, to different types of packagings become waste material. The fact is that over time, sooner or later all products end up as waste. With the end of the 20th and the beggining of 21st century, we are slowly starting to accept the fact that the waste is not garbage and that it contains a multitude of usable material. These began to impose recycling, or reusing paper in graphic industry. There are many ways of recycling and utilizing of waste material from the graphics, which employees, specifically in graphic industry are unfamiliar. One of the ways of using waste materials is a graphic waste material as a new "raw material", especially the exploitation of all kinds of paper creations, because they are the most accessible. Showing ways of using those same paper creations and its further use in graphic design. Graphic material waste is increasing, due to the high use of paper as the basic material in the office and at home, low cost of paper and paperboard and great use of paper usualy used in packaging. In order to reduce waste all that matters is awareness from the very beginning of the product development and encourage graphic artists and designers in process of raising awareness, and using this assumption as the main idea to start product development. You need to think about all the possibilities to reduce waste and protect the environment, and also to implement sustainable thinking in professional terms as in graphic and in other industries. |
