Abstract

Abstract in english: For the purposes of this thesis experimental prints were created by printing process colors (CMYK) at different speeds (3500, 7000, 10000 sheets/h) on the offset sheet-fed machine Ryobi 526 HXX. Printing was done on multiple types of print substrates. After printing the basic parameters of the printing quality were calculated (ink density and dot gain). At full field (100% RTV) we measured the density and LAB values and compared with the ISO 12647-2:2007 standard. Curves of realistic reproduction were compared to the recommended curves for sheet fed offset by ISO 12647-2:2007 standard. The aim was to see what impact printing speed has on ink density and dot gain. Goal was to see how dot gain changes on different printing substrates with different print speed. The hypothesis is that the dot gain and density changes with increasing speed, because the press speed affects all parameters of the printing press.
