Abstract

Abstract in english: | Newsprint paper is largely made, and sometimes entirely, of primary fibres or recycled fibres. Recycled fibres are obtained from wastepaper as a raw material, therefore newsprint paper properties differ from the paper produced exclusively from recycled fibers. This graduation thesis gives theoretical explanation of the flow of raw materials through their preparation and production of recycled paper for printing in rotations, which explains the causes of this phenomenon. The aim of the experimental part of the thesis is to examine five types of newspaper with the intention to perceive their mutual differences which may show that sometimes less thick and grammage paper is stronger in terms of resistance to tensile or tearing. Therefore, the hypothesis of research is that papers for printing newspapers, although manufactured from recycled or mainly from recycled fibers, can meet the requirements of mechanical resistance, regardless of the thickness and grammage of paper. |
